A book that does not exist
New publishing house, a new translation into Polish, a new cover. Three reasons why I bought another Polish version of "The Little Prince". A moment later, something interesting happened.
In an online bookstore, I found a book published by SBM: the same but different. On the cover of my book the Little Prince was looking left (on the graphic next to this, cover on the right). On the Internet, the kettle on the volcano was on the right side of the Little Prince. Oh, curiosity - I thought - and I ordered another book.
Disappointment was yet to come. The shipment that came to me contained, unfortunately, an identical copy that I already had. I decided to explain the matter to the end and wrote to the publishing house.
"At the time of the announcement, i.e. without physical possession of the book, the Little Prince on the cover looked right" - wrote in the answer to me the sales and marketing manager of the SBM sp. o.o. - "This error was caught by our editorial staff and corrected, but unfortunately the cover has already gone online, it is very difficult to unscrew."
It happens. The important thing is that the red SBM cover has been released in one version. End of search.
